About this project
Following the success of Agroecology is the Way, we partnered with RENAMA to document the story of Juan Khier and his farm, La Aurora—a global benchmark for agroecology and an inspiration for thousands of farmers in Argentina.
The documentary transports us to the beginnings of this quiet epic, following the protagonists as they make the courageous decision to abandon the extractivist paradigm and reconnect with the land through respect, science, and sensitivity.
Through authentic and moving footage, the film reveals the fears and resistance, as well as the daily triumphs, that forged a new way of producing healthy food, caring for the environment, and rebuilding communities.
